Hello, I am Farah. I'm a psychologist and I work at Rapha International Haiti. Haiti is a country where there is a lot of human trafficking and sexual exploitation.

I accompany women and children under 18 in the community who are victims of sexual violence and rape, who come to us to seek help and support.

I also help children who have been placed in centers or orphanages, whom we help return to their families and to a home that protects them and is safe for them.

My role is not only to listen to people, but to accompany them in recognizing and managing their emotions and to help them regain self-confidence after the trauma and suffering they have experienced.
