JANENE RUSSELL Operations Coordinator
Janene was first introduced to Rapha International in 2011 through her high school students. Content to be a math teacher, she encouraged her students to be more involved in the work against trafficking and helped them coordinate fundraisers and raise awareness for Rapha. While visiting on two different awareness trips (2013 and 2017), she saw first hand the work of the Rapha staff. It made a lasting impression on her to see the impact they had on the young children they cared for both at Rapha’s Survivor Care campus and Prevention programs. Though she stayed in her beloved teaching position for several more years, God continued to stir a passion for Rapha and for those affected by human trafficking, exploitation, and abuse.
Janene joined the Rapha team in 2024 as Operations Coordinator. Janene and her husband, Jimmy, live in Joplin, Missouri. They are avid, amateur diyers, enjoy concerts/shows, and hope to travel more as they become empty nesters.
