Professional & Trauma-Informed Care

“Every day, now more than ever, we’re reminded of the needs around us—children who need protection, families facing crisis, and communities that have lost hope. With so many needs competing for our attention, it can be difficult to know where to invest your time, resources, and trust.”

“For those of you who already entrust Rapha with your gifts, and those who are still considering, we want to transparently answer the question: Why Rapha?”

PROFESSIONALISM &
TRAUMA-INFORMED CARE

Rapha’s staff combine professional expertise with deep commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care.

Our staff are nationals in each country where we serve, bringing cultural understanding and professional qualifications to their work.

They are dedicated Christians who receive extensive training in their fields, as well as in trauma-informed practices.

COMPETENCE, COMPASSION, AND CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING

This combination of competence, compassion, and cultural understanding allows Rapha to serve survivors and vulnerable children with excellence and dignity.

THERAPY MODALITIES

At the Rapha Hope and Healing Center, our licensed therapists use a variety of evidence-based and child-centered therapeutic approaches to help children and adolescents heal from trauma and build healthy coping skills. Through modalities such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Play Therapy, therapists help children process difficult experiences, manage emotions, reduce trauma-related symptoms, and develop a stronger sense of safety and well-being.

Our counseling services provide holistic care for the whole family, supporting children, adults, couples, and families at every stage of life. Each approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of the child, supporting their journey toward healing, resilience, and hope.

Thank you for partnering with Rapha and investing in this important work. Together, we can help create a world free from child trafficking and abuse, where every child and family can experience healing, hope, and freedom.
